Perspective

Door County Habitat for Humanity gives a "Hand Up," not a Hand Out to our Partner Families.
Habitat homes are not given away. Rather, they are sold to Partner Families who must make a down payment along with monthly mortgage and escrow (taxes & insurance) payments. In addition, each adult in the family is required to work 200 hours of "sweat equity" in the construction of their home.
Partner Families Make Good Neighbors

Door County Habitat for Humanity, Ltd., is a 501(c)(3) corporation. All contributions of money, materials or land are tax deductible.
