Donating to Door County Habitat

I always liked the phrase “Think Globally, Act Locally. Door County Habitat for Humanity does both. Locally, Habitat volunteers remodeled Women Employment Project offices at Cherry Point Mall, finished repairs at the Habitat offices, salvaged windows, trim, a water heater along with other items from a home scheduled for demolition, moved toward completion of our first remodeling project, started construction on our 33rd home, painted two existing homes and started an electronic waste recycling program. Globally, since 1995 our local affiliate has contributed enough funds to Habitat International to buy building materials for 74 homes outside of the U.S. The most recent of which was a Habitat home built in Honduras. By contributing to Door County Habitat for Humanity you can truly think and act both locally and globally. Everyone can help Door County Habitat. Individuals, churches, businesses are all part of the backbone of Habitat for Humanity. We are able to do what we do because of the generous donations of caring people like you. Donations of time, money, materials, and land, are gratefully accepted..

• Time - We are always in need of caring individuals willing to help with construction, food for the work site, site host/hostesses, parades, event booths, ReStore help, pick up/delivery, painting, maintenance and much more.
   

• Money - Your donations of money, (stock, cash, check, or credit card), enable us to complete our mission. At a time of national economic crisis, we are in need of financial support now more than ever.
   

• Land & Materials - Land is essential for us to build upon. Construction materials to help us build are greatly appreciated.
   

• Stocks & other investments - Please contact our office for further information.
